- Description
- "I went to Pedano’s shop and drew directly on large sheets of wood. They then cut out the shapes and secured them in bases. I used a tool I had bought with me from New York and carved my drawings into the wood. These drawings, as always, are done directly without any pre-drawings or plans. One of the things I am continually interested in is the amount of different ways of making marks and the varieties of experience to produce the same consistent line (i.e., carving, painting, drawing). Each requires different amounts of time, concentration, and effort, but the result remains amazingly consistent." –Keith HaringSource: Keith Haring Foundation: Untitled
