Who runs Raisonne

Raisonne is run by [PLACEHOLDER: legal name of the operator], [PLACEHOLDER: registered address]. For anything about your data, email erling@journeyagency.com.

You can browse without an account

Reading catalogues needs no account. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in.

What an account stores

Platform administrators can see the email address and display name of every account, so they can manage catalogue claims and answer requests.

What you add to a catalogue

Records, sources and images you add are public once you publish them. Drafts are visible only to you and to platform administrators. Every change to a record is kept in its version history, together with the account that made it.

Independent research

Catalogues on Raisonne are independent research. They are not official and are not authorised or endorsed by any artist's estate or foundation unless a catalogue says so.

Sources and credits

Images and information are credited to the sources they come from, such as museums, foundations, auction houses and archives. The credit is shown next to the value or image it supports. The rights in those images and texts stay with their owners.

Services we use

Data is stored in [PLACEHOLDER: hosting region, for example the EU]. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep your account for as long as you have it. To see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, email erling@journeyagency.com.

When an account is deleted, its sign-in account and display name are removed. Catalogues it compiled stay on the site with all their records and catalogue numbers, but no longer show a compiler, and anyone can claim them again.

[PLACEHOLDER: your rights under the data protection law that applies, to be confirmed by a legal adviser]

Asking for content to be removed

If a record or image concerns you, or you hold the rights to something shown here, email erling@journeyagency.com with a link to the page. We will review it and reply.
